Every class selected five students to join the 5-km race, whose route measured five kilometers, from our school gate to the foot of South Hill. After receiving guidance on safety, 150 runners set off with excitement, their classmates along the way giving them necessary help as well as encouragement. Challenging as the race was, all the runners successfully crossed the finish line with perseverance, enjoying/earning/winning the enthusiastic cheers and applause from the audience.
